Caesars Palace Online Casino AppSummary

  • The new app is titled Caesars Palace Online Casino.
  • The soft launch has started, with a full launch coming soon.
  • The app will first be available in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ontario, and West Virginia.

Apps are imperative to the online gambling experience for a number of reasons. They are convenient, easy to use, and offer quality gaming on your smartphone or tablet devices.

Caesars Entertainment is currently working on launching a new Caesars Palace branded app so its online players can transition to the mobile world. The app, “Caesars Palace Online Casino“, will offer premium gaming and connect to Caesars Rewards.

Launching Soon Across the US

The new app is currently in the soft launch stage in several states. It will be live in Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ontario very soon. The app will also be available in New Jersey, but regulatory approval is needed first.

Players can use the app to access slot machines and traditional table games. According to officials, launching an app aims to give Caesars the ability to talk to a single customer. Bettors can seamlessly transfer reward points from the app to brick-and-mortar casinos as well as Caesars branded sportsbooks.

The company first teased the app during the May earnings call and is sure to be a hot topic of discussion during the next call. Head of iGaming for the company, Matt Sunderland, stated that they are pushing the real-world experiences at Caesars properties to online players and vice versa at casinos. The goal is to offer a complimentary experience between the two.

Entering a Booming Industry

Online gaming continues to grow at a steady pace in the US, so it makes sense that Caesars would finally launch a dedicated app. Most operators already have an app that players can use for mobile gaming. So far, there are six states in the US that allow for online casino gaming, and hopefully, more will come in the future.

From January to April, the online gaming industry brought in $1.99 billion in revenues. Sports betting brought in $3.67 billion in that same time frame, but the industry is open in 26 additional jurisdictions. If the US were to open online casino gaming in more areas, the total number of revenues earned each month would skyrocket.

It’s a booming industry that is slowly taking shape. Hopefully, as other states start to legalize the activity, others will see the appeal and join in. For some reason, lawmakers seem less inclined to approve online casino legislation than sports betting. This ideology will need to change if more states are going to get in in on the action.
