The Resorts World Hudson Valley Casino is a property that is currently under construction in Newburgh, New York. The Hudson Valley casino varies from its sister site Resorts World Catskills as the property does not have a hotel. A visit to the Catskills is considered a luxury getaway, according to Taylor. The Resorts World Hudson Valley also does not come with any connected restaurants.
Visitors to the casino would need to venture elsewhere to enjoy dining options. Officials hope that the decision to move into the mall will help to spur redevelopment in the shopping center, including quick service and restaurant options.

The new casino will offer video slot machines and table games such as blackjack and roulette, options that workers are installing now. The construction process is focused on adding the finishing décor elements before opening. Once operational, Resorts World Hudson Valley will employ 250 people. So far, the project has hired around 200 construction workers.
The facility will provide around $3 million annually to Newburgh, much-needed funds to help the town thrive. If more businesses move into the area due to the casino facility, it will bring even more funds to the region.
