Swedish gaming developer Evolution Gaming has announced that it has entered into a partnership with BetMGM, where the developer will provide BetMGM access to its ever-growing range of live casino titles and game show-themed offerings.
The BetMGM brand is part of a joint venture between online gambling operator GVC Holdings and Las Vegas casino operator MGM Resorts International. BetMGM offers online sports betting and casino games. Evolution’s live casino offerings will now be made available to BetMGM, as well as its sister brands, PartyCasino and Borgata Online.
Evolution Gaming is most famous in the industry for their innovativeness in the live casino sphere. In addition to the standard live tables of Blackjack, Roulette, and Craps, Evolution also offers game show-style titles that give players the full game show experience from their Live Casino studio in New Jersey.
BetMGM is expected to assist Evolution’s entry into the Michigan and Pennsylvania markets, where Evolution plans to construct new Live Casino studios. The Pennsylvania studio is slated to open by the end of 2020, with the Michigan studio set to open in 2021.
Matthew Sunderland, BetMGM’s Vice President of Gaming, stated that Evolution’s reputation as the premier developer of live casino titles made the partnership an easy decision for their firm.
Sunderland stated that Evolution’s long history of providing top of the line live casino games has convinced BetMGM that the company will be a perfect fit to their needs. Sunderland further noted that Evolution’s expertise in developing live casino and game show titles will help BetMGM build its presence across newly regulated online gambling markets in the US.
Sunderland also mentioned that BetMGM’s plans to cement their leadership position in New Jersey’s gaming market, which he believes will be bolstered by Evolution’s suite of excellent live casino offerings that can be found nowhere else.
Evolution Continues US Expansion
Evolution Gaming Malta’s CEO Johan Nordstrom likewise expressed his appreciation for BetMGM partnering with them to expand into the nascent US live casino market. Nordstrom said that Evolution’s expertise in the live casino arena will surely help BetMGM further their goal of quick growth in what is rapidly becoming an extremely competitive market.
