The high roller area will provide additional gambling options for players who want to spend a little more plus food and beverage service.
What Does the High Limit Room Offer?
The tribe has a created a new space on the third floor of the casino that consists of almost 5,000 square feet of space. The room has been decorated in 1920s style with Art Deco décor seen throughout. Visitors to the High Limit Room can access 80 new slot machines, each offering denominations of up to $25 per spin.
Oversized chairs have been added for comfort along with 12 large 65” televisions for entertainment. Restrooms were added for convenience with guests having access to food and beverage service within the space.
Images of the new area show the large space featuring a customized look with plenty of open areas and seating for guests. The new space is sure to be a hit with the big spenders in the area.
New Gaming Compact Signed with the Tribe
The new space opens just shortly after the tribe and California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a new gaming compact into law. The new law classifies the compact as non-projects connected to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). This usually requires developments to complete a detailed environmental review and a review by the public.
The Tachi Palace Casino first opened in 1983 as a bingo provider known as Southgate Bingo Palace. By 1994, the tribe took over the space and expanded on its gambling services, renaming it to Tachi Palace. Earlier this year, the casino announced upgrades and renovations for the gaming floor as well as other areas of the casino.
Bingo has returned to the casino via the Yokut Hall, with tabletop slot games having been added to the third-floor overlook on the main gaming floor. A server walkway was also added for quick beverage needs.
It is important for casinos to stay relevant and updated to maintain player traffic. Guests can easily visit another property if a casino begins to falter in visual appeal or services. The Tachi Palace property is doing everything it can to ensure that guests enjoy the space and have new and exciting features to look forward to.
